IMBA Trail Solutions subcontracted Ptarmigan Ptrails to work with their staff in Cedar City, Utah to build around 5 miles of trail. These are likely the first mechanized technical flow trails built in the desert region of SW Utah and northwestern Arizona.
The build team encountered large lava boulders and silica dust throughout the project, making something magical out of finger of alluvial debris, sitting un-utilized by the community for the past 150 years.
The trails were an instant success, and PTrails had a great time working with the IMBA Crew and BLM staff.
